A working version 0.1 prototype: three training jobs, a full 3D facility and a scoring system measured rather than guessed. The standards checks have already caught a real error in a coating specification — a coat that could not actually be applied within the material's pot life.

A browser-based training simulator for AlpAccess employees. The trainee walks a 3D facility and takes a real job from start to finish — receiving the steel, checking it against the purchase order, inspecting, degreasing, drying, blasting, coating three layers, measuring the film, repairing what failed and delivering — with a score that reflects the cost of every shortcut.
Coating faults are invisible until they fail in service. Nothing stops a new employee doing the steps in the wrong order on site — blasting greasy steel, or coating before it's dry — and the cost only shows up months later. The simulator had to let people make those mistakes safely, and be accurate enough that what it teaches is true.
- 01Modelled the full preparation chain as a 17-step workflow, from reading the assignment to delivery
- 02Kept the rules engine separate from the 3D scene, so a whole shift can run automatically without a screen
- 03Checked the physics against the standards it cites — dew point, film-thickness averaging, salt contamination and pot life
- 04Built automated play-throughs that finish every training job and prove that doing less work never scores more
- React Three Fiber
- Three.js
